I have finally been forced to change from Win7 & Office 2007, which I loved, to Win 10 & Office 2019. If I hadn't paid for this garbage, I would not be using it now. I don't know who would have thought the setup for Outlook 2016 view is an effective way to navigate emails.
#Outlook 2016 for mac font color unread windows 8
then this is just stupid.wasn't this at least partly why Windows 8 was such a disaster? If this was changed just to be consistent with tablets etc. I had to set up Search folders for "Unread Mail" for each of my accounts and save them in favourites just so I could see all my unread mail in one location - and I have to make sure I look for the numbers instead of bold folders - this is ridiculous. but if i condense them, I can't see which ones have new emails I have several email accounts so the wide line-spacing also referred above with multiple sub folders means I can't see them all on one screen if expanded with all their individual IMAP folders. I previously had Outlook 2007 and it worked well and made practical sense. Then I noticed the lack of bold folders which I could not believe has been removed.
Then had to disable "Outlook Today" for my first email account. With additional subfolders being created in my IMAP mailbox. I know this is a long time since the original quote, however I have just recently purchased Office 2016 for my desktop machine and I have spent several hours trying to be able to view emails in a logical / quick & easy way.
